 You're just a few steps away from enjoying the exciting features on our site, including our online Journal, Weight Tracker, and Community Recipe Swap.  To access these features, your browser must be set up to work with some of the special coding on our tools and pages. Below is a step-by-step guide to configuring your browser so it's compatible with our site.
 It's your choice to make these changes to your browser. If you decide not to make them, though, we need you to understand that you will have trouble accessing some features on our site.

Make sure you have the latest version of Internet Explorer (version 6.x or higher) or Netscape Navigator (version 7.x or higher) on a PC. Macintosh users should use the latest version of Internet Explorer (version 5.x), Netscape (version 7.x or higher), or Safari (version 1.1 or higher).

 What's a cookie, you ask? Good news – these are zero POINTS® value cookies. In fact, these cookies work with your Web browser and give us important information about you as a user. For more details about the kind of information we collect from cookies, read our Privacy Policy.
 Again, it's your choice whether or not to have your browser accept cookies. If you decide not to enable cookies, though, we want you to understand that you will have trouble accessing some features on our site.
 Here is how you check to see if cookies are enabled in your browser.
For Internet Explorer 5.x :
 Click on Tools and select Internet Options. Click on the Security tab (while you are there, make sure your settings are on Medium). Click the button that says Custom Level. Scroll down the list until you see cookies. Make sure the Enabled button is selected.
For Internet Explorer 6.x :
 Click on Tools and select Internet Options. Click on the Privacy tab and then click the button marked Advanced (between Import and Default). Click “Override default settings” and then specify how you want Internet Explorer to handle cookies from first-party Web sites and third-party Web sites (a Web site other than the one you are currently viewing).
 -To specify that you want Internet Explorer to always allow cookies to be save on your computer, click Accept.
 -To specify that you want Internet Explorer to ask whether or not you want to allow a cookie to be saved on your computer, click Prompt.
 -If you want Internet Explorer to always allow session cookies (cookies that will be deleted from your computer when you close Internet Explorer) to be saved on your computer, click Always allow session cookies.
 For more information about cookies, refer to the Help section of Internet Explorer. 
For Netscape 7.x:
 Click on Edit and select Preferences. Double click on "Privacy & Security" then select "Cookies". Make sure "Enable cookies based on privacy settings" or "Enable all cookies" is selected. Please check your privacy settings are set to "medium" by clicking on the "view" button. 
For Macintosh Safari 1.1 or higher:
 Click on Safari and select Preferences. Then click on Security. In the "Accept Cookies:" section make sure "Always" or "Only from sites you navigate to" is selected. For FireFox 1.x:
 Click on Tools and select Options. Click on the Privacy tab and select "Cookies". Make sure "Allow sites to set cookies" is selected. Make sure your browser has JavaScript turned on. 
 Much of the functionality of our site relies on JavaScript technology to work properly. Most browsers have JavaScript enabled by default but they also allow the user to disable or enable it. We require JavaScript to be enabled for our site to function properly.
 Here is where you can check to see if JavaScript is enabled in your browser:

 Click on Tools and select Internet Options. Click on the Security tab (while you are there, make sure your settings are on Medium for the "Internet" zone which by default enables JavaScript).
For Netscape 7.x:
 Click on Edit and select Preferences. Double click on Advanced, then select Scripts & Plugins. In the "Enable JavaScript for" section make sure "Navigator" is checked. Also, in the "Allow scripts to:" make sure everything is checked. 
For Macintosh Safari 1.1 or higher:
 Click on "Safari" and select Preferences. Then click on the Security tab. In the "Web Content" section make sure "Enable JavaScript" is checked.
For FireFox 1.x:
 Click on Tools and select Options. Then click on "Web Features” and make sure "Enable JavaScript" is checked.
